A representative of the Center for Consumer Goods Expertise (CCGE) under the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the 1st International Symposium on Finance, Accounting, Auditing and Digitalization.

The event, held at Sumgayit State University, was attended by more than 30 academicians from the country's higher education institutions, as well as representatives of state and private institutions.

The purpose of the event is to study the innovations taking place in the fields of finance, accounting, taxation and auditing in modern times, discuss the possibilities of applying digitalization and artificial intelligence in these areas, and at the same time form a roadmap in accordance with current trends and scientific innovations.

Within the framework of the symposium, Emin Kazimov, Head of the Finance and Economics Department of CCGE, made a presentation on the topic "Prospects for the application of common accounting standards of member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

In addition, the issues of further expanding cooperation between OTS member countries in the fields of accounting, auditing and digitalization were considered. The need to formulate common standards and professional criteria in this direction was emphasized.

The symposium continued with panel discussions covering current topics and modern approaches related to financial policy, tax systems, accounting, and auditing.
