 Consulting services

Provision of “Consulting services for determining the country of origin of goods, issuing a certificate of origin and obtaining an opinion for participation in procurements”

 

You can benefit from our following consulting services:

  • At the initial stage, pre-determining the possibility of granting Azerbaijani origin to goods planned for production or export in accordance with the requirements of the legislation;
  • Providing advice on the preparation of necessary documents in accordance with the requirements of the legislation to obtain a certificate of the country of origin of the goods during export;
  • Submitting an application in accordance with the requirements of the legislation for obtaining a certificate of the country of origin of goods during export, as well as the documents attached to it, as appropriate, through the relevant system;
  • Submitting an application in accordance with the requirements of the legislation for obtaining a certificate of the country of origin of goods during export, as well as the documents attached to it, as appropriate, through the Certificate of Origin Sub-Module (MSAM);
  • In order to benefit from preferential treatment when participating in public procurement, pre-determining the possibility of granting Azerbaijani origin to goods to be submitted for procurement in accordance with the requirements of the legislation;
  • Providing advice on the preparation of necessary documents in accordance with the requirements of the legislation to obtain an opinion on the origin of goods when participating in public procurement;
  • Submission of an application, as well as the documents attached to it, through the relevant system in accordance with the requirements of the legislation in order to obtain an opinion on the origin of the goods when participating in public procurement;
  • Submission of information on exported goods and import countries based on the examinations conducted to determine the country of origin of the goods.

 

To benefit from the above services, an “Order Form” must be filled out and submitted to the Consumer Goods Expertise Center (CGE). The following steps can be followed:

1. Download the order form (download here);

2. Print the order form;

3. Fill out the order form (after filling in the required fields, select the "X" sign in front of one (or several) of the consulting services);

4.1. Scan the completed order form and send it to the e-mail address of the IMEM [email protected];

4.2. Submit the completed order form to the IMEM in person or through a representative;

4.3. Send the completed order form to the IMEM by mail.

 

Note: After the order form is submitted to IMEM, it is registered and a number is assigned.
