Full transition to issuing certificates of origin through the "e-keyfiyyet.gov.az" information system will be provided

Entrepreneurs engaged in export activities are advised to apply for certificates of origin through the Quality Information System (e-keyfiyyet.gov.az).

 

The State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Supervision under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has started accepting applications confirming the country of origin of goods through the Quality Information System (e-keyfiyyet.gov.az).

 

For this purpose, the Agency has developed a sub-module “Certificate of Origin” to fully electronicize the process of issuing certificates confirming the country of origin of goods and put it into use in the Quality Information System.

 

Applying for certificates of origin through the Quality Information System creates a number of advantages for exporters. These include creating a personal account using an electronic signature or easy signature, obtaining accurate information about the execution status of applications in real time, concluding a contract for the purpose of conducting an examination to determine the country of origin of goods and paying the service fee for the examination conducted electronically, paying state duties electronically, obtaining statistical information about certificates of origin obtained within a certain period, forming certificates of origin electronically based on the information provided by exporters, obtaining certificates of origin quickly and efficiently, etc.

 

It should be noted that the instructional video on using the “Certificate of Origin” submodule has been posted on the official “Youtube” channel of the Consumer Goods Expertise Center (https://youtu.be/Ix58hVvU8BQ). It is also possible to familiarize yourself with the instructional video through the “Application for obtaining certificates of origin” subsection of the “Electronic services” section of the “e-keyfiyyet.gov.az” information system (https://e-keyfiyyet.gov.az/e-services).

 

For your information, applications for obtaining a certificate confirming the country of origin of goods are currently partially accepted electronically through the “Electronic Services” section of the official website of the Ministry of Economy.

 

In connection with the new change, after the full transition to the system is ensured, in order to prevent delays in the process of obtaining certificates of origin and to form skills in using the system, entrepreneurs are recommended to apply for certificates of origin through the Quality Information System in the coming period.
