The first "Agrarian Business Festival" of this year was held in Salyan district with the partnership of the Center

The first "Agrarian Business Festival" of this year was held in Salyan district under the organization of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. Farmer-entrepreneurs from Salyan, Saatli, Hajigabul, Neftchala, Bilasuvar, Sabirabad, Jalilabad regions participated in the festival, which was held in partnership with the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Ministry of Economy and the Consumer Goods Expertise Center.

Sevindik Hatamov, the head of the Salyan District Executive Power, who opened the event with an opening speech, said that, as in all regions of the country, the development of agriculture and entrepreneurship in general is always in the center of attention in Salyan District, and from this point of view, such events are commendable.

Anar Jafarov, director of the Agrarian Innovation Center, noted that the main goal of the Agrarian Business Festivals held in the regions is to provide access to the available products and modern technologies of the farm owners living or working here, including farmers. Entrepreneurs participating in the festival were given relevant trainings by the Crop Organization and Monitoring Department of the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Agrarian Training Center under the Agrarian Services Agency, and the Agrarian Insurance Fund.

Also, the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture, Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Ministry of Economy, Expertise Center of Consumer Goods, National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan provided detailed information about the state support mechanisms for farmers. Representatives of the Consumer Goods Expertise Center, which participated in the festival, met with entrepreneurs, benefited from the Center's services for mutual cooperation in the future, and called for evaluation of the opportunities of their products to reach wider "markets".

By bringing together parties who have a role in the development of agribusiness at the festival, conditions were created for more farmers-entrepreneurs to benefit from financial support and state benefits.
