The stand dedicated to the Consumer Goods Expertise Center demonstrated the analysis of the composition of precious metal products, the determination and evaluation of hallmarks, as well as the process of engraving the state hallmark on the surface of the products.

The Center for Consumer Goods Expertise (CCE) under the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Supervision under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the "Azerbaijan Jewelry Show" international jewelry exhibition organized by the Azerbaijan Jewelers Association.

The exhibition, attended by about 40 local and foreign companies, showcased precious stones, gold and silver jewelry, bullion and coins, costume jewelry, as well as equipment and supplies for the jewelry industry.

Experts from the Consumer Goods Expertise Center informed the exhibition participants and visitors about the services provided in the field of analysis and expertise of precious metals and precious stones, as well as the requirements of the current legislation. For this purpose, XRF - X-ray fluorescence spectrometer and laser marking devices used in the provision of relevant services were installed at the Center's stand. The stages of testing and marking of precious metal products within the framework of state quality control were visually demonstrated using these equipment.

Note: By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 12, 2025, the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Supervision under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was assigned the authority to exercise state control over the production, processing, use and circulation of precious metals and precious stones in the country, as well as state control over the import, export, use, circulation, accounting, storage and tracking of unprocessed diamonds, as well as to provide an opinion on the import and export of unprocessed diamonds.
