The event was held to strengthen public-private sector cooperation, discuss modern challenges in the business environment, current issues and prospects for cooperation.
With the support of the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Supervision under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and jointly organized by the Azerbaijan National Business Association and the Caspian Energy Club, a special session of the National Business Development Forum was held. The event was attended by business entities operating in the food, freight transportation and logistics, construction, information technologies and other fields. The main goal of the forum was to strengthen public-private sector cooperation, discuss current issues in the business environment and exchange views on opportunities for mutual cooperation.
The event was opened by the Chairman of the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Supervision under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elnur Bagirov, and the Chairman of the Caspian Energy Club and the Group's CEO, Telman Aliyev. It was noted that the forum has created an effective cooperation environment based on mutual trust with regulatory structures by strengthening the dialogue between state agencies and the business community. The work and innovations carried out in the direction of forming a healthy and competitive business environment in the country, quality infrastructure, public procurement and consumer rights protection were also brought to attention. Information was provided on the opportunities provided to entrepreneurs by the events held and the cooperation mechanisms established within the framework of public-private partnership, and the importance of direct dialogue with entrepreneurs was emphasized.
As part of the panel discussions, Advisors to the Chairman of the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Supervision under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jafar Babayev and Ilgar Hasanov, as well as the Head of the Agency's Staff, Tural Ismayilov, answered questions from entrepreneurs and exchanged views on the proposals put forward.
